Emulating The C=64 on Your PC

There are several C= Emulators on the CD that will allow you to run the .D64 files on your PC.
I personally like the original C64s emulator best, for Dos Users, but alas, that is a dying breed, so for you Windoze users, VICE is by far the very best emulator out there.

The Vice Team has done a superb job of emulating the C64 in all it's glory ! ... and I tip my hat to them.

The Vice emulator has now been fully released into Freeware, as well ast the source code, so visit the Vice Team above to get the latest version !! ( Note: I will "try" to include the latest version on your CD's, when they are sold, but just the same, visit the Vice Team often, for the most recent updates.

Also included on the Cd's are SEVERAL of the other Emulators.... heck !!! try them ALL out, and pick the one you like best. Vice is just my humble recomendation

IT'S JUST PLAIN FUN to turn your PC into a C=64 again ! and the emulators allow you to do that with ease.

*Authors Note*

I think this is very cool...... Using the VICE emulator, you can actually program in BASIC , SAVE the file and RUN it... just like you did on your old C=64

Try this one

10 PRINT "hello"
20 GOTO 10

Now type RUN


Anyway the Emulators have come a looooooong way in the past few years and the authors have my hat off to them.... and you should tip your hat too and send them a few greenbacks and show your support
