Online since Sept. 2001 .................. last update May 2008..... Welcome !
About the CD
The CD contains 1000's of games, utilities,BBs Programs,Word Processors and
more for the C=64.
The files are in
D64 Format
that allows them to be used on a
C=ommodore Emulator
on todays PC's.
You can also use one of the included programs on the CD
to copy the .D64 files from the CD, back to the "native" C=ommodre format
using a simple interface cord and a C=ommodore disk drive.
The
Interface Cord
goes between your printer port on the PC and a C=ommodore disk drive, allowing
you to easily copy the .D64 files onto a C=ommodore disk again.
Why Bother !! Run the Programs from the CD !
Thats right, you can enjoy playing all the classic C=ommodore games and run
any of the other programs , RIGHT FROM THE CD , with no need to copy them
to a C= disk again. Simply run the emulator and load the program and your good to
go !. Sound and Joysticks are supported too !
The Programs on the CD
The programs on the CD reflect a personal collection of C= software I aquired
over a span of 14 years running a C=ommodore BBs. There are many hard to find
programs on the CD, and also a bunch of never seen before programs, contributed
to the BBs from online users and through C= User Groups I was a member of.
It's ALL here ...everything and anything, from the hottest games of the
times, to simple
Basic
programs that can do amazing things on the C=ommodore computer.
What's so Special About My CD ??
Well it's MY CD ! This is a private collection of software from many
years of being deticated
to the C= computer, both online and offline. Many
of the programs have never been seen before.
It took un-countable hours to archive ALL the CK BBs software into D64
format, but it was a labor of love.... something only "old school"
C=ommodore users can relate to
It's ALL here... old phreaker text files, machine language assembelers,
beta test programs, online bbs capture's, Qlink stuff... you name it !
I did it for one simple reason, to preserve 1000's of programs that would
have been lost into oblivion.
YES, I'm gonna charge you a few bucks to buy the CD, but it's pretty
darn
cheap
for all the years it took to collect the software,
the money spent to maintain the hardware needed to be online
24 hours a day for 14 years ( not to mention the phone bills )
and the hours
upon hours to archive it into .D64 format for you to enjoy, so don't think
I'm someone trying to cash in on a bunch of old software I got at the
Salvation Army's yard sale.... This stuff is all MY collection, which
spanned over 2000 5 1/4 floppy disks.

The CD has been broken down into specific directories ( i.e. Games1-Games2-

Closing Notes from the Author
I have done my very best to make sure this CD works flawlessly in any system
, and have tested it on a number of different setups. I want you to be
happy ! I'm not a commercial business, but just a guy who ran a BBs for
a lot of years, and put together this CD. I'm not going to take the money
and run, as many of the "other" CD sellers do... I'll be here to support
you and help how ever I can to make sure you get the most from the CD
I want you to use it !, not just toss it aside after loading it up
a few times.
Call it "old school SysOp Syndrome" or what ever you want,
but now as then,
I'll help where and when I can.
You can always
Email Me if you have
any questions or problems.
One Final Note
As you look through the file lists you may see some
duplicate names. This is because some files were backed up on different disks
at the time ( old 5 1/4 floppies were pretty fragile ) to make sure they
didn't get lost or damaged. There isn't a lot of 'em, but there is a few
so don't panic.... consider it good housekeeping.
