Pop98

Hello, and welcome to my Bio Page.  I'm pop98....aka Rick

I'm 51, and have been married for (hang on I'm doing the math)...ahhh yess...
23 years.  I have 3 children and four grand children.  My children are one son, age 20, and twins that are 17.  I also have a daughter thats ..(doin the math again)... 27, from a previous marriage.

I am proud to say that I am a former United States Marine who served during the Vietnam era.

I started going to the parenting-grandparents room when it was on talkcity almost 5 years ago.  I have made some great friends there over the years.
I had the good fortune to meet a bunch of them at the Knoxville meeting last summer, (boy they sure talk funny down there).

I have always.. (at least since my military tour).. made it a point to not get close with people because of the fear of losing them.  Somehow, that all changed after becoming a chatter in this room... and I'm thankful for that.

I'm looking forward to a new year of talking to all my friends and hoping to meet them in person some day soon.

One of my goals is to get another dog, and train im for Search and Rescue like with my partner, Ceasar, who passed away 2 years ago.
