Our Day-By-Day Journey

Day
1-May 10, Depart the United States for Shannon, Ireland. (D)
Day 2-May 11, Met on the Mystical West coast of Ireland by our comfortable, private
mini-coach, we explore the rocky Burren, rich with over 200 historic sites, including
500 stone forts from the Iron Age. Lunch in a typical Irish tavern before viewing
the Cliffs of Moher. After checking into our hotel, we prepare for our evening Medieval
Banquet at Bunratty Castle. (B/D)

3-May 12, Morning reflection after breakfast as we journey to the Rock of Cashel,
Ireland's most mystical, historical landmark. Lunch and a visit to the Waterford
Crystal Factory before journeying through the countryside to our Dublin Hotel. (B/L)
Day 4-May 13, Dublin city tour to places such as Trinity College with the Book
of Kells, the Guiness Brewery and St. Patrick's cathedral. The afternoon and evening
are free to visit a pub or two or perhaps the Abbey Theater. (B/D)

5-May 14, As we drive to Newgrange, we learn of it's unique construction which only
allows sunlight to illuminate the interior on the Winter Solstice. After a countryside
lunch, we explore the ancient Celtic burial circles at the mystical Hill of Tara
and a Round Tower. Time to process our connection to the land and Celtic Spirituality.

6-May 15, We Depart for the South and stop at the Avoca Weavers to shop for wonderful
Irish creations. Lunch at Powerscourt Estate and Gardens before departing for Glendalough,
one of Ireland's most impressive monastic settlements. Arriving at O'Leary's Farmhouse
B&B on the Irish Sea, we greet Elizabeth's relatives and relax with time to explore
and perhaps pick up some fairy stones left by the sea before enjoying an Irish family
dinner. (B/D)

Day
7-May 16, We ride the ferry across the Irish Sea to the beautiful land of Wales,
rife in myth and legend of sites associated with King Arthur. It is said the resting
place of Merlin the Magician is here. We visit the Caerphilly Castle near Cardiff.
As we travel through some of the most stunning scenery in Britain, we tune into the
spirit of Wales. We reach the city of Bath with its Roman ruins. Dinner and overnight
in Bath. (B/D)

8-May 17, We visit the mysterious megalithic stone circle - Stonehenge. Then on to
the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral. At Avebury we will have time for ceremony and
reflection. Dinner and overnight in Bath. (B/D)

Day
9-May 18, Glastonbury, the site of Ancient Avalon of the Mists, the "Holyest
Earthe in England." We will walk the streets of this magical village and travel
back to the times of Celtic priestesses, Druid oak groves and mysterious tales of
King Arthur, Merlin and Morgan LeFay. We tour the Abbey, the cradle of Christianity
and the final resting place of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. Lunch at the Rainbow
Inn. Free evening in Glastonbury. (B/L)

Day
10-May 19, Glastonbury Tour. This morning we climb the Tor and discover it's many
mysteries. We spend time at Chalice Well for a rebirthing ceremony at the waters
of the Earth Goddess, meditating at the source, drinking the healing water, strolling
the lovely gardens and visiting the gift shop. In the afternoon we travel to Clark's
Village Outlet, a shopper's paradise for Clark's shoes, clothing and specialty stores.
We return to Glastonbury for dinner at the renowned Knights Fish & Chips Restaurant.

Day
11-May 20, Tintagel Castle, legendary birthplace of King Arthur, lies on a stretch
of land projecting into the sea in the beautiful landscape of Cornwall. We climb
down to the sea to the huge caves of Merlin and tour the ruins of this massive castle.
Lunch and shopping in the quaint Cornwall village. Back to Glastonbury, free evening.

12-May 21, Tour Windsor Castle on the way to London. Lunch near the castle. Arrive
London, check into hotel. Free evening. (B/L)

Day
13-May 22, London city tour. Tower of London, Thames River cruise, pub lunch. Evening
at theater, Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical play, "The Woman in White,"
at the Palace Theater, a sprawling Victorian tale of ill-fated love and nastily scheming
aristocrats, its plot packed with more twists and turns than a soap opera. Starring
Michael Crawford, the original Phantom. (B/L)

14-May 23, Free day in London. Lots to see with your Tube Pass. British Museum, Globe
Theater, ride the London Eye, shop at Harrod's, see Princess Diana's residence-Kensington
Palace with clothing exhibits, walk Picadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace. Tonight
is our farewell dinner. (B/D)

15- May 24, Depart London for The United States. (B)
