Welcome to my family tree!
HOPKINS lines originate in Heyshott, W. Sussex, England. My direct ancestors, George (photo at left) and Jane KNILL HOPKINS emigrated to America in 1835 aboard the British Barque, Union. The HOWARDS and CLEVELANDs were riginally from Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. My branches settled in Ukiah, California and are all descendants of Jeremiah Cleveland, noted in DAR records. The MCLEODS, MACKENZIES, BEATONS emigrated from the Raasay, Isle of Skye and Applecross, Scotland, to Prince Edward Island, Canada. The KEDYS were English settlers in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Eisenors, Ernst, Zwickers were German and Swiss emigrants, also settling in Nova Scotia.
