We don't have any information on his parents, syblings, or wife, but we do have two children: 1. Reuben Baker Boatwright (I) was born March 21, 1762 in Amherst or Cumberland County, Virginia. He married Lucy Penick July 26, 1785, in Farmville, Prince Edward County, Virginia. Reuben died in 1840 at New Canton, Buckingham County, Virginia. They had twelve children. More information is available on his family. Request via email if you are interested. 2. John Boatwright (II) was born in 1764 in Amherst County, Virginia. He married Jerusha B. Penick June 9, 1796 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. He died in 1838 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. They had eight children: A. ______ Boatwright b. between 1795-1800. B. William Boatwright b. 1799 probably in Prince Edward County, Virginia. He married (2) Caroline Sadler between 1821-1822. They had eight children. (His first wife is unknown.) C. ______ Boatwright b. between 1800-1810. D. Edwin Boatwright b. ca 1801. He married Elizabeth Baldwin July 8, 1826 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. He died December 29, 1882, in Prince Edward County, Virginia. They had five children. E. Judith B. Boatwright was born July 11, 1805 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. She married Benjamin J. Hill Dec. 12, 1826. She died Aug. 16, 1881 in Montgomery County, Missouri. They had nine children. For more information on this family see HILL family. F. John W. Boatwright was born ca 1806 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. He married Sally W. Spaulding January 10, 1828 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. G. Reuben Boatwright was born June 14, 1807 in Farmville, Prince Edward County, Virginia. He married Margaret Susan Carter December 10, 1832 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. He died January 22, 1871 in Farmville, Prince Edward County, Virginia. They had 16 children. H. Thomas Boatwright was born between 1808-1810. Nothing more is known about him.
